Great location, right next to the canal in the center of town. Authentic feel, like stepping back in time to a 200-year-old house. Small but comfortable with a modern kitchen and bathroom. Plenty of storage space and a nice book collection. Comfy beds and good quality furnishings. Convenient parking spot in front of the cottage.
Felt like they were family, nothing was too much trouble.

The cottage had a great location, just a short walk from the heart of the town. It was also a bonus to have off-street parking, which can be hard to find in this area. the shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water, which was refreshing after a long day of exploring. the complimentary wine and shortbread were a lovely treat.
The beds in the cottage were too soft, causing discomfort for my daughter and me. the heavy winter bedding was also not suitable for the summer weather.
